Plex versus Kodi??
I have used KODI (XBMC) for around annually now on the HTPC I built. I am dealing with a place where I must expand things i have and setup another PC to operate personal files share or perhaps a server (Plex Server) to centralize our movie/tv files onto one system and perhaps expand to help HTPC clients to hook up with individuals files.
I love Kodi, the issue however, is Kodi is not always so smooth. You will find bugs, the plug ins have bugs and mostly I selected Kodi initially for just one particular wordpress plugin, PseudoTV. The only real other factor I personally use on my small Kodi setup is Sportsdevil and Live News. Now I am not really a large sports watcher however i love watching Winnipeg Jets NHL Games, I am not in Winnipeg nor Canada, I am from Atlanta, so have the ability to watch them (as well as for FREE on Kodi) was always an advantage. Live News I need. Not every one of it, maybe just 1 live funnel which has what’s happening at this time when i see it. I really like Alex Johnson and alternative news too.

If Plex had a way to include these functions I believe I would need to switch immediately, I believed someone here might have more experience on which is / is not possible on Plex because I have been looking throughout and heard lot of different solutions.
