It is almost expected that two old adversaries will be brought together for a third time, as Miesha Tate will safeguard her recently won ladies’ Bantamweight title against previous division ruler, Ronda Rousey.
That is as indicated by Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president Dana White, who uncovered amid the post-battle recap demonstrate that “Cupcake’s” first title guard will be against “Rambunctious” in the not so distant future.
Rousey and Tate first went toe-to-toe in 2012 under the Strikeforce standard, as Ronda submitted Tate through first-round armbar to catch the 135-pound strap. After a year, the two women crashed at UFC 168, as Rousey clutched her UFC title by getting Miesha in another armbar, this time in the third round.
